Those of you more into photography and still pictures: by no means do we dare to put any limits to your creativity, but these categories below seem to cover most of it:
- Portrait. (Will it be your Mum? Or your sweetheart, or just a person in the street, or maybe even your cat? Up to you. It’s how you see it, really. It’s how you FEEL it).
- Nature and Landscape. (Pretty much self-explaining, isn’t it?)
- Street photography. (Well, this one’s a bit more difficult. It’s about LIFE - everyday life and its curious moments. Someone’s bright coat amidst a grey crowd. Or a little girl in the street smiling at someone – who is she smiling at and why? This genre is about story-telling… as indeed all photography is).
- Visual Art. (This is a separate category. It’s for anything that doesn’t fit into categories of conventional photography. We simply couldn’t disadvantage those of you who like to draw, or to paint, or maybe do graphic design or digital art).

You are perfectly free to present any works on any topic. However, we also have a few suggestions, which you might or might not follow. These will go under special thematic nominations that will cut across main categories.
- There’s no place like home (a great way of showing the beauty of your home cities!).
- Unnoticed life of inanimate objects (have you ever noticed your toothbrush feel sad? switch on your imagination! humour is also welcome!).
- “Life is motion” (interpret the phrase as you like, but try to show the dynamics – it’s a challenging task!)
